Our packed Halloween party of October 29th kicked off with a kids’ carved pumpkin competition. All twenty-six pumpkins were then placed overlooking the car park to cast their eerie glow as the result was announced, with the winner then named as Efie Box. Runners-up won sweets. We had enough to meet demand. Which was high.
The celebrations continued as the talented Jason Baxter assumed his position at the keyboard, entertaining revellers before folk-rock group The Reverend Schnider and The White Angels took to the stage; inspiring a chockfull dancefloor to move until their feet ached (see review).
